Owen Keylock, Vice President of the Friends of the Burke Museum and Keith 'Harry Power' Warren

with 'Wedgie' the Wedge Tailed Eagle, one of the prospective adoptees.

In an exciting new initiative, The Burke Museum and the Friends have announced a scheme whereby individuals and businesses, families and clubs can adopt a specific item from our collection, a shop in our Street of Shops or even an entire collection or special exhibition.

Adoptions last for 5 years and begin as low as $50.

Adopters will receive an adoption certificate and will be identified on or near the item and acknowledged on the museum website.

Contact the museum directly to discuss availability of your chosen object.

Funds raised will be shared between conserving the collection and exhibition development.
